JP’s Kitchen was founded in 2015 by James Pierce, who turned his personal passion for all things culinary into a home-grown professional catering business, providing delicious food for local events. Over the years, the business has grown rapidly through word-of-mouth, building a reputation for quality and care. Today we cater for everything from milestone celebrations and weddings to large-scale corporate functions for up to 1,000 guests – still applying the same personal touch that set us apart from the very beginning.

Fresh, local
and seasonal
Great food starts with great ingredients. That’s why we source mostly from local farms across Essex. We often design menus for clients around the seasons, from autumn’s rich, earthy flavours to the light, fresh tastes of spring, bringing out the very best in every ingredient and supporting our local community along the way. We’re also happy to go a little further afield to get our clients exactly what they want – from Japanese Wagyu beef to Beluga Caviar from Russia or Alaskan king crab, we’ll source it for your event.

Our team are dedicated to exceptional service and they approach everything with a can-do attitude, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure your event runs seamlessly and feels truly special.

Food is what brings people together, and it’s at the centre of our world. Our multicultural team of outstanding chefs can adapt to any style or cuisine, from a Peruvian sharing feast to French bistro classics, bringing creativity and skill to every plate. And because great service is just as important as great cooking, our chefs are as comfortable out front, talking to guests alongside our serving staff, as they are in the kitchen.

A commitment to
sustainability
We’re passionate about doing the right thing by our clients and the planet. That means reducing waste, sharing food we don’t use with local shelters, and rethinking how we work every day. We banned foam plates and single use plastics years ago and we’re dedicated to recycling. Then, to offset the carbon footprint we inevitably leave, we plant hundreds of trees a year at a rate of five for every £1,000 our clients spend with us.

From setting up in tight spaces to finding ways to make things work when it feels like there’s no way, we bring a flexible, problem-solving mindset to every job. So, from canapés at an office Christmas party, to a three-course dinner for six hundred guests, to an intimate dining experience for 50 at a private lodge – we’re the caterer of choice.
