In October, our team had the honour of catering for Team GB Motocross – providing food and hospitality for the elite riders, along with their closest friends and family. This exclusive event took place in the VIP tent, creating a private space where guests could relax, refuel, and celebrate together.
The Brief
The focus was on high-quality, comforting food with a balance of British classics and lighter options – designed to keep riders energised while also giving friends and family a memorable dining experience. With over 250 guests across the weekend, it was important to deliver seamlessly and keep the service smooth in a busy, high-profile setting.
The Menu
Over three days, we curated a varied menu that combined hearty British favourites with lighter bites and indulgent desserts:
Friday – British Roast Dinner
- Roast beef with homemade Yorkshire pudding
- Seasonal vegetables, goose fat roast potatoes & red wine gravy
- Followed by chocolate brownies
Saturday – A Taste of Wales
- Breakfast: salmon bagels, bacon/sausage baps, yoghurt & granola
- Lunch: leek & potato soup, Welsh rarebit, artisan breads, local cheeses
- Afternoon Tea: Welsh cakes, bara brith, Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle & more
Sunday – Scottish Inspired
- Breakfast: porridge, salmon bagels, bacon/sausage baps
- Lunch: Cullen Skink (traditional haddock & potato soup), Scottish cheeses, pies, sausage meat rolls
- Afternoon Tea: shortbread, scones with clotted cream & jam, Victoria sponge
All served buffet-style, creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere for guests while still maintaining the high standards expected of a VIP setting.
The Experience
Alongside the food, we also provided full drink service – from morning teas and coffees to glassware and bar management throughout the weekend. Our staff ensured guests were looked after at every moment, allowing riders and families to focus on the racing and celebrations.

Catering for Team GB Motocross was a huge privilege for us. To play a small part in supporting the country’s top riders, while looking after their families and closest supporters, was an unforgettable experience.
